Fragrant blue flowers all summer! The Blue Paradise Tall Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Blue Paradise') produces light-centered, delicate dreamy blue flowers that are a delight in the summer garden! Perfumed blooms in large panicles, the clusters of flowers will be smothered by pollinators and Hummingbirds!

The late-day sun brings out deeper, more lavender hues for a two-toned effect that's sure to please. This strong, prolific bloomer even emits a sweet fragrance, making it a perfect cut flower as a living room bouquet.

Hardy in heat and cold throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9, this Tall Garden Phlox grows up to 3 feet in height when in bloom and spreads about 2 feet wide! Best in sun and average garden conditions, and flaunting why these old-fashioned garden standards have earned their place!

Planting and Application:

Garden Phlox are garden classics! There's a reason these old-world blooms keep reappearing in landscapes for centuries! Traditional border garden plants, sunny courtyard garden show-offs, and moody blue vertical color, there's nowhere that a Phlox won't enhance!

Butterfly gardens and Cut Flower gardens are ideal locations for these old-fashioned blossoms! Mid to back-of-the-border accents and focal points, throughout the Perennial borders and Cottage garden! They are perfectly suited to be planted in pots. Feature a few planters on your front porch for the whole neighborhood to admire!

Blue Paradise is space-saving enough for use in containers as upright thrillers and focal points in large urns by your sun-drenched front entry, or around a backyard patio garden! #ProPlantTips for Care:

Plant herbaceous perennial Garden Phlox in full sun and good air circulation - at least six hours of sunlight for the most flowers and brightest color. Provide well-drained soil, and be sure to give them supplemental water during their first year and apply water in a prolonged drought. Apply a three-inch layer of mulch around your plant, but make sure to pull it back from the stems.

Deadhead after the flowers fade to encourage a rebloom, then prune your Phlox back in late autumn after frost has reduced these herbaceous perennials down for the year. Prune Tall Phlox right after the blossoms fade and tidy up the mounds in late autumn after frost. While no plant is truly deer resistant, they do not prefer the taste of these plants. Every 3-5 years, it's recommended to divide your clumps to maintain vigor and provide you with extra plants to expand your enjoyment. But, if you live in Deer Country, be sure to use Deer Repellent during planting, guided by the instructions on the label.
